This is just what I need for making my ribbon bows. The wire heats up very quickly and both cuts and seals the ends. The main benefit is I can measure the ribbon as I cut it.

This is definitely Not a Toy.. the hot wire even on a low setting can become visibly red hot. but that been said, it does exactly what is needed, cuts foam. I am a model maker, and it enabled me to make a small section of wall in a small scale from high density foam insulation board. well worth the money paid, then refunded because it was lost in post. tried to contact seller to send money back, but seller is obviously replying with copy and paste comments. Cant imagine if anything was to go wrong with the machine, the seller would be very helpful. Also, the variable thermostat gets hot when in use.. I might replace that with one Not made in China.

A fine cutter for those starting out. It’s simple to use. It’s also simply to put together, which is lucky as the instructions are not in English and the diagrams are less than brilliant.

I have been using a larger home made hot wire cutter for years, but need something which is more accurate, so I decided to make one.I soon changed my mind, when I see the price, I realized I could not build it cheaper, so the order was placed. There are no English instruction, just some pictures.A large set square was placed on the base, and the arm adjusted in both planes to get the wire set at 90 degrees, very pleased with the purchase.Delivery was quick as well.

I line out and insulate shipping containers, (both 20' and 40' containers.) To avoid condensation problems in lined-out containers, its best to have polystyrene insulation touching the corrugated sides of the container. This means, cutting strips of insulation in a 'dovetail' shape. The VEVOR hot wire cutter does the job perfectly. It was very very simple to put together, and with the variable controller, you can set the cutting wire temperature very easily to be just right. It leaves a smooth, dust free cut, which is extremely consistent, and very accurate. I am impressed - the quality is good, shipping was fast, and the price was cheaper than anywhere else. Very very good.

perfect, all that I need. The foam cutter came in good time, setting up was a breeze with good clear instructions. I have just completed my first project with and it was perfect for the job!
