Easy to use but it is very low geared so you need to push and pull on the lever a lot to lift an engine any height. It lifts and lowers with great control.
Used for lifting 300kg machinery in garage. Easy to install in garage good easy to rotate top hook. up down neutral lever simple and easy to change. lifts up and down safely. Doesn't work on lever ratchet when there is no load. But just use heavy rotate lever all the way round to rotate chain to appropriate position by hand. Lever working when load heavy clicks are heard. Excellent tool.
A serious bit of kit , far superior to the cheap lightweight versions available elsewhere. Used to assist with taking down a large tree branch by branch. Heavy to lift into position but it’s strong and should last for years . This tool has multiple uses and I’d recommend it to others
