Gerät heizt laut display auf 1150 Grad Celsius auf. Tatsächlich erreicht es aber diese Teprstur nicht. Da das Kupfer bei Ca. 1070 Grad Celsius schmelzen sollte. Das Kupfer ist aber nicht geschmolzen. Das gerät hat kurz nach erreichen von 1150 Grad Celsius (laut Display) ausgesetzt. Reperaturanweisung hat nicht gebracht. Es wurde dann angeboten, eine neue Platine zu schicken, dauer Ca. 14 Tage. Oder eine Gutschrift von 50€. Ich weiss nicht warum ich ein Gerät behalten sollte das nicht funktioniert?

It's the worst I have ever used! It wouldn't melt the metal. It would not fully heat the crucible. It doesn't work and customer service is a nightmare. The solution they have offered is to give me a $50 refund for a product I paid over $150 for. To be clear I never actually got metal hot enough to pour. 5 ounces of cut up thin . 925 sterling silver from candlestick's with the filler removed. It's not worth it!

Your ad says it smells copper with ease you at copper melts at 1180 your machine goes to 1150 six and a half 7 hours same crucible full of copper and nothing has melted

It need more care and thought

I only used it twice, then it stopped working. I tried to contact the company and they never responded. I did research and people said this is common. So don’t spend your money on this bs

I was excited to use this furnace for the first time and it did exactly what I needed it to do. However, during the second use, I noticed that my silver didn't appear to be melting (just softened) so I reached out for tech suport. After following their recommendations as well as inspecting the crucibal before use, I added more silver (as recommened) and attempted to melt. This time I noticed the the same issue, plus the silver level appeared to be dropping. I raised the crucibal and found that the bottom of it was leaking liquid silver down into the area the holds the heating element! I quickly shut the machine off but it is now un-usable and the silver added is now lost. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality and the loss of money on both the furnace and the silver, as silver is extremely expensive right now!

I received the furnace. The lid doesn't close

Unit may work well with low melting point metals. But it says it works with copper it does not. I used the smallest crucible about an inch and a half's worth of copper.. it heated up to a glowing red the top stayed solid. Only the very bottom portion of the copper in the crucible managed to melt. The crucible failed the little bit that did melt leaked into the bottom of the chamber. Making a nice hole in the unit. When trying to reach out to support to get it fixed they did nothing. Their genius advice was to keep using the unit. They sent a new crucible which labeling on The crucible said very specifically if there is any damage to the chamber to quit using it to immediately. An expensive mistake save your money and look for something else
