The door was easy to assemble but not so easy to install for my situation, which is not a fault of the doggy door.

Absolutely awesome! Needed a little assembly and weather strip that took a few minutes. With 8 dogs and 2 cats we're very pleased.

This dog door is working very well for us. It is built very well and easy to install and compared to other dog doors that I looked it, it was less expensive. Our 85 pound pit mix loves it.

I think this add-on pet door is best suited for areas that sliding doors that aren’t your primary entrances or exits. This white aluminum pet door is designed to fit into a small segment of the opening for a sliding glass door. It includes weatherstripping and mounting hardware and adapts nicely to various door heights. As for lockability and security, you will likely feel less secure with this door in place since it is an add-on that lacks the structural integrity of the original door. Assembly takes a about 20-30 minutes to get the door panel pieces aligned and put together using the hardware provided and put into the door opening. Once in place, the magnetic pet door sweep worked great and there is a metal panel provided to permanently block the door sweep for after hours. I suppose you could install this pet door segment and take it down seasonally. I would think that of you live in a cold area, this door could be the source of a lot of heat leakage if used in the winter. Finish of the panel is top notch and all of the white panel areas look great. I didn’t like needing to drill a hole into the existing door track so that it can be locked into place with a pin to prevent being pulled open. While this pet door is a nice design and the finish/quality of materials is great, this didn’t work out for my application because of weather intrusion. It is of good quality using rust proof materials that weather well, and will work perfectly if used for the right application.

I've had this pet door installed for weeks now and love it. My sphynx loves going out to sun himself in the sunroom. Arrived in perfect condition and is very sturdy. Love this purchase.

Bought it for two large racing greyhounds. It is well constructed, easy to assemble and the large flap is easily sourced if you need a replacement. It has great features others do not.

Bought a little larger than I needed, but it has worked out for the best. The dog shoots through it like a rocket! She doesn't have to duck or stop to get through. It does take up a lot of space in door, but so worth it for the dog to enjoy it.
