Honestly, I was pretty nervous about cutting into my window frame for a cat door, but this VEVOR window insert was the perfect solution. No drilling or cutting required - it just slides right into the window track. The adjustable width (23-28 inches) was exactly what I needed for my slightly older window. Installation took maybe 10 minutes tops, and I'm not exactly handy with tools. The aluminum frame feels really solid, not flimsy like some plastic ones I've seen. The magnetic flap works great - it closes quietly but securely, which keeps the drafts out. My cat took to it right away, though I did have to tempt her with some treats on the other side at first. What I really love is the 4-way lock system. I can set it to let her go out but not come back in (when I want her to come inside for dinner), or let her in but not go out (when I want to keep her inside). The full lock mode is perfect for when we're away for the weekend. The high-transparency glass is clear enough that it doesn't block much light or view, which my wife appreciated. For anyone looking to give their cat some freedom without permanently modifying their home, this is honestly the best solution I've found. It's sturdy, works well, and gives me peace of mind knowing my cat can come and go as she pleases.

This door is very well made and was easy to install. It took about a week to train our cats to use it to both come in and go out. Now they use it with ease.

We ordered the small size of this door but received the larger one and it wouldn't fit in our window. We contacted Vevor who offered a small refund if we kept the larger door, so we accepted. It was literally one inch too large on each side, so we used tinsnips to cut the edges down and it is 100% perfect! This is one of the very few black cat doors we could find online. It's heavy, solid and well-made. It came with foam strips for insulation and our cats use it constantly all day long. It can be locked or unlocked with different variations and we definitely recommend it!

Top Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis! Einfache Montage!

Money well spent. Fits great and the toggle switch is easy to use.

Great quality, easy to install, very sturdy! My cats love it!

Well built and priced right. Gave our cat a whole new world of freedom. Saved us from letting him in and out every 10 minutes .

Works okay. Unfortunately the cat flap is all plastic and my cat has managed to scratch it a lot.

The unit itself is good the only problem i have with this is the gasket around the door the air that it allows to come in and out in winter was to much had to remove during winter time months . I am thinking it will be just as bad in summer time . So that leaves me spring and fall that should be perfect .

Cat can force door open even when locked
