Does the job stripped a whole 55gal trash can full of wire in a couple hours

Just like a bunch of other people have said, it takes a little bit to figure out how low to adjust the blade and get it dialed in, but once I figured it out it's been amazing for stripping a bunch of different sizes of copper wire. Helpful tip, it probably needs to be lower than you think it does, it will not break the blade or anything. Also, another Trek I have found is to put the wire in a hole that is lower and then it pushes it up into the blade. Only problem I have found is that it needs a shield on the side of the inside of the motor. wire sometimes curves right into it and gets stuck if you're not holding the other end, but it's an easy fix, just wrap a piece of aluminum around it or put an eyelet in front to run the wire through.

A couple of things I kind of figured out. First the bigger the wire, you will have to help either push or pull it through the hole. I don't think the teeth that grip the wire are big enough for the big stuff, haven't tried smaller wire yet. It also helps to cut the wire into 3 to 4 feet pieces.

Product works well. I welded an Allen key to the shaft. Works great. A strong drill is needed. Cordless drill won_ work. If possible use a drill that has adjustable speed.

Good for its purpose

Very well made, sturdy piece of equipment works really well with the drill which is what I have used from beginning. Easy to alternate for wire thickness and get plenty stripped each hour!

This was the perfect gift for the person I gave it to arrived quickly packing wasn't very pretty and was impossible to open without destroying it so I had to give it to my brother as it arrived, but in saying that, I was there when it was opened and the item was exactly as described and in perfect condition. This is quite a heavy item which explained the necessity for the robust packaging. overall well pleased with this item Thank you
