I had a lot of trouble getting this thing to seal. So much so that Vevor refunded my money and let me keep it. I did eventually get it to seal with a silicone grease on the gasket and the inside of the clamp. I also had to flip the latch over on the clamp and then tighten up the Allen head bolt to the point that the clamp ends almost touched before it stopped leaking. The lower TC fitting is not a standard size it's somewhere between 2 " and 3" , the sample port could have been a TC fitting but is just a 1/2" threaded valve so not super sanitary. I've only done a batch of hard seltzer so far.

Nice Item, robust, sturdy I like it.
I have not used it yet... due to the fact that I can not get the pressure up for pressure fermentation
The ring that secures the lid to the body does not close it tight enough.
I can only get 5 psi and I would like to ferment at 10-12 psi.
The product as wohle is good.
I think that I got just a bad closure ring.
It look cheap and have not got the precicion it needs.
Can you send me a other?

There are several unsanitary welds on this unit. The bottom dump is actually restricted down to a 3/8" opening in the bottom. There is no way you're going to get a settled slug of yeast out of it. What's worse is that the bottom TC flange is actually a very uncommon 2.5" so finding alternative parts is going to be difficult.

Arrived damaged, bent inward which alters measurements of liquid. Precision is crucial. Vevor is slow resolving. I sent pictures so solution is straight forward. Perhaps my last Vevor order.
