MattWeiler Works well to confirm we need more insulation in attic
We've long suspected that our attic could use some more insulation.
I've gone up there to check before, but it's hard to know if we need more; some is compacted from people going up there and just with age.
With this thermal camera, I was able to see that the ceilings in our bedrooms had some cold spots and we've booked a company to come and add some more to bring us to the recommended R-value.

This is an excellent thermal camera for the price. I am not sure how to set it to read temperatures above 225 °F, I get an "over" message on hot spots above this range otherwise it serves the purpose I ordered it for.

It has worked great so far, I live in the cold and i can see all the heatloss areas of my house, as well as where the cold is coming in.
It just fun to to scan around rhe house, you can see stud layouts through the drywall on exterior walls. Also have used it for checking for fevers with my kiddos

Received quickly and well packaged.
A bit tricky to set-up, the app download and install is not done instinctivly.
Once you get the good version and allow the App to access your informations, you can use the imager.
Quality and fonctions are great and easy to use.

pas evident de trouver a telecharger le bon programme. Entre le chinois et l'anglais, les numeros de serie etc etc. Et ca ne fonctionne pas sur ma tablette Huawai

Ich habe die Kamera gekauft und musste leider feststellen, dass sie für meine Zwecke ungeeignet war. Die Rückgabe über den Kontakt des Kundenservice war sehr kulant und hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Also 5 Sterne für den Service, 3 Sterne für die Kamera!
