I had an easy time with the first 6 spikes. I used 2 pieces of 2x4 to hammer them into decent soil and they anchored the 4x4 posts well. I then had a difficult time getting the next spike into a difficult mixture of wet clay and chip stone. I was afraid to hammer too hard as the box was not strongly attached to the spike. The spike had a rounded point on the tip, which would have been much easier if it had a sharper point to cut through the ground. I have come up with a digging solution that I think will work, but the ground is frozen now and I need to wait for a thaw. So for normal ground I think these are great. I would definitely buy again and I hope they sell single items because I might need just one more.

Les piquets sont un peu fragiles, j'en ai cassé un à force de taper dessus malgré que je frappais sur du bois de 8x8 introduit dedans . Si le sol est assez résistant, passez à autre chose.

Not what I expected

Most of the spikes failed where they attach to the top portion ,as they got close to being completely pounded into the ground they would twist and break. Had to make them work but they did not withstand being pounded into the ground.

Vendor fence post anchor ground spikes, were not well constructed, the stake portion( 5 out of 8) bends and twist so that the wooden post is not straight or in line when driving them into the ground. I rate this poorly constructed product a D-

I have to say very disappointed with these badly put together even in relatively soft ground they bent and the welds broke in the end I had to dig holes and concrete the post in which was what I didn’t want to do 👎

Absolument inutile, trop faible et léger. Les soudures sur la pointe ne sont pas assez solides, elles se cassent et donc le métal se plie et se courbe. Ils pourraient être acceptables si vous les installiez dans un sol meuble, mais tout ce qui contient du gravier l’oublie. Note : Je n’ai laissé qu’une étoile car on ne peut pas laisser zéro.

I would not recommend this product. A year later, I am having to redo everything. It is a great idea but with it just going into the ground, it doesn't stay plum.

In ground less than a year and the welds broke it is a chain link so no wind now I set in concrete
