This sweeper handles surface debris well and is easy to push, but set your expectations around what it can and cannot lift. I tested it in mid-June on a yard with twigs and leaves, and it picks up leaves and grass trimmings pretty well. Anything sitting on the top surface of your lawn gets collected. It does not do well with larger twigs and branches (larger debris is too heavy for the brushes to pick up, and longer pieces can wrap around the brush spindle). The wheels spin the brush pretty fast, and the sweeper is easy to push at the higher height settings but harder to push, at the lower settings. It is pretty much silent aside from a soft brushing sound, no matter what setting you use. There are 10 different height settings, and it ships at the highest setting. I adjusted it to level 2 (second from lowest) and it did pick up debris closer to the ground. The drawback is that the lower setting takes significantly more effort to push, since the brush is now brushing against the grass and ground much more closely. I bought this partly to pick up acorns and walnuts in the fall, and I have not been able to test that yet, so I can't say how it handles them. Assembly was straightforward and took about 10 to 15 minutes. There are only 6 sets of knobs and bolts. The most time consuming part was attaching the basket clips onto the basket frame. The basket easily attaches and detaches for emptying. On build quality, the sweeper frame is thin steel 1/2 in diameter tubing, the basket frame is 1/4 in solid steel rod, and there is some sheet metal around the brush. Aside from the bolts and washers, the rest is mostly plastic. I think it will hold up to light use, but I don't expect it to last much more than a few years. For storage, the handle folds down like a lawn mower handle, but it isn't very convenient and doesn't save you very much space. It is a bulky item, though relatively lightweight to lift, so if you have wall space I'd recommend hanging it high on hooks. At $118, t

It works as well a you do. It does take more effort than I thought but it does do what is advertised to do.

I purchased the 26 inch lawn sweeper for my husband. We have a beech tree which drops many droppings. He would spend hours picking them up. With our new lawn sweeper he picks them up in no time. We love it.

Easy to assemble. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Works well at sweeping leaves on level grass. I use a rake in dips to pull leaves to level ground, then sweep. Very easy to empty.

Work pretty good, better on even surface. I have a few dips in my lawn that was kind of more difficult to clean in those areas. But overall way easier to cleanup the pine cones and small branches and leaves then racking. A bit cumbersome to dump in the paper lawn bags though.

I gave this 4 stars (instead of 2) because I feel that this performs as described. Or rather it SHOULD perform as described but I tried to use it on artificial turf. It works good for medium length sticks and grass but small twigs and pebbles just get thrown forward instead of in to the hopper. It did a good job of “sweeping” pebbles off the lawn and on to the street but I was hoping it would direct it all to the hopper. Also for it to do the job well, you have to find the right brush height for the angle at which you push it. And the best working angle requires some effort as the brushes give you a bit of resistance when pushing.

I bought this with skepticism in hopes that it would pick up at least some of the gumballs that were crazy this year. It wasn't 100% and it wasn't easy but it worked better than I expected. It picked up probably 75% of the gumballs but it did take some effort. You need to tweak the level to get the best results but overall it worked very well for what I wanted it for. It would work excellent for most other basic uses and I highly recommend it.

This was a great purchase! We bought it to help us with our spring clean up in our backyard. We have 3 large dogs and live in northern Alberta. Our winters are long. This picked about 70% of everything it went. It took probably 3 or 4 passes around the yard to get everything picked up. It's definitely worth it!

Great product with great price

The product works well and with more practice, it will be smoother. Picks up all in yard and that's the main thing. Now, the bag need a sturdier bottom. It sags with weight and creates a pocket that almost reaches ground. I would also suggest putting a plastic cover to keep dust from attacking user. Overall, it's a good sweeper, to pick up all the stuff on yard. Future models should have a small motor to turn the brushes. Thank You.
