Love this fridge! It got down to temp really quickly and holds it really well - when it does click on, it only runs for 2 - 3 minutes, then it's off again, so hardly taking anything from the batteries. Plenty of space for me (there's only me to feed!!!) - leftovers, etc, go into stackable containers, so it holds a surprising amount of food. With a fleece blanket folded on top, it's also a handy extra seat (great when I'm using the sewing machine) - worth every penny!!!

Love this portable fridge, best thing I’ve bought in ages! It’s quiet, compressor only kicks in once in a while and then only draws 30-35watts for a short while. And if vehicle battery is dropping, this will stop drawing current so you can start your vehicle. Great value, if you’ve been using cool box with 12v fin and fan cooling dump it for this!

Everything great except the Bluetooth but there's no need for it anyway. Perfect size for my van , its well built and gets cold very quickly

I am really pleased with this cool box/freezer. Thankfully other customers answered some of my questions and I’m still not 100% sure how the battery protection works but everything else is great. I gets to temperature quickly and maintains it well. The wire basket is a good touch as is the light. The phone app makes the controls so much easier. Really nice unit.

This is for the 35L versionVery Quiet, gets down to -20C easily in an ambient of 19CPoor instructions covering multiple models and no mention of the phone app. The app is called 'carfridgefreezer' by alpicool and it worksFor a replacement 12v DC lead do a 'Google' for "12V lead for Waeco CF40 Fridge"The voltage indication is misleading but accurate, it does accurately indicate the voltage at the fridge but not the battery voltage as it does not take into account voltage drop along the 3mtr 12V battery lead. This works to your advantage as it means that the fridge cuts out at a true battery voltage of 11.5v which saves damaging your battery. If it went down to 11V it would reduce the battery life. Although you can only set one temperature and that's for the main compartment, there is a smaller compartment above the compressor which is at a higher temperature. I've found that if I set it to -5C the main compartment remains frozen but the smaller area is ideal for chilled food and doesn't freeze.Eco mode is a waste of time, it runs the compressor slower but longer so therefore takes the same total amount of energy to maintain temperature. It may also have a detrimental effect on the compressor running it slower.For hidden menu settings do a 'Google' for "alpicool hidden settings cf35"

Product is great, nothing fancy but it does what it supposed to very well, especially for the money. Not too heavy, very quiet, good functionality and cools very quickly. I'm happy I didn't pay 3x the money for a big brand last year.There was an issue with the courier and the seller was very helpfull and supportive, already recommended this to few of my camping buddies.

Liked the solid feel ,ease of use and the fact our 120W solar panel on cloudy days was able to keep things cool over 4 warm days and not drain the 120AH battery too much.Very quick drop to set temperature on initial set up on AC supply at home. 23 to 3 deg C in 15 mins.Also we ran it overnights in camper van and it did not disturb any sleep. Soft shushing noise only.Didn’t like and needing a review the instruction was the fact we set to -6 for last two days but no freezing took place even trying Eco and Max settings.Generally happy with purchase but would be much happier if we could get it to freeze on DC.Very good value compared to others if it keeps going and gets stuff frozen when required.
