This drain cleaner works perfectly for my sewer drain , and my neighbors. We split on the purchase because the cost of a rental for a one time use was almost the same as buying this unit. Now we can clean out the sewer lines twice a year instead of paying tens of thousands to put in new sewer lines. The 50 foot unit is long enough to get past the roots and reach the town property.

Seriously for $300 it’s a nice machine. I’m a certified journeyman plumber and I use machines worth 4-5 times as much on a weekly basis and I wanted something to use at home and didn’t want to spend money. This machine works great, a little bit old school with the manual feeding but at midnight at my house it works!!! If you can get the machine with the auto feed, if not buy yourself some good thick leather gloves. The stock cutters will work on 90% of blockages but I bought myself some better ones.

Nice machine. Works well. Easy to manage. My problem is gone. Way easier than a manual drain cleaner. Shipping was fast. The gloves included are way to big. Be careful for your fingers. Thanks

This is a very nice piece of equipment to do drain and sewer line maintenance cleaning and unclogging any obstructions. The snake is of a strong steel and gauge and it just powers through clogs like nothing. However, the thicker gauge snake sometimes does not want to bend onto the correct direction because due to its gauge thickness, it is a bit hard to maneuver into tight corners and then one has to resort to thinking outside the box to get the snake to travel in the desired direction. This tool is best suited for medium to heavy duty rooting and if you need a more light duty, pliable and maneuverable snake id recommend going with a thinner gauge... but if you need to power through roots, dirt and any tough clogs, then this rooter can take care of most heavy clogs.
