It wasn't what I expected cause when I put the chicken in seems like it's not plucking the feathers out of the chicken like the ones I see at the poultry place I even have the chickens soaked in the hot boiling water and check by plucking by hand and the feathers would come off like the way it should then put it in the machine and it just bounced around and feathers were still on the chicken I let it go for a good 5 to 10 minutes so I don't know why it's like that

We bought to use on our small farm for small batch meat birds processing. Worded well, had a bit of trouble with getting it started but once started, it worked well. Definitely recommend for home processing.

Every step of the way is just better. If you have a choice go with Vevor. Better quality, better prices, great service. Maybe you've noticed my copy and paste reviews. Im not a robot I just think less is more and better + great says it all.

Works very well, just make sure you do your scald temp and time correctly and this plucker will handle the rest. Wraise several different types of birds and I have used this for all except the Turkeys. Quail: A bit small for this plucker, quail will get stuck in the gap between the bottom plate and the inside wall. It does work but you are running a risk of damaging your birds. We would put in 4 at a time. Chickens: regular size birds (3-6lbs) you can do 2 at a time. Larger birds and long legged roosters work well 1 bird at a time. Ducks: Does a good job removing 90% of the feathers, a little extra cleanup after they come out of the plucker but that’s the nature of ducks with the dense undercoat of feathers. Geese: About the same as ducks, it does struggle if the birds a extra large (15lbs+) Turkeys: machine is too small for all but the smallest turkeys, not enough room in the barrel to effectively turn them and knock off the feathers.

This plucker worked great. Took about 20 minutes to put together, very easy to assemble. This was my first time processing my chickens. Rolled it out into the yard. Once I got the hang of scalding, this plucker removed 99.5% of the feathers in less than a minute each. My chickens were 8-9 lbs, so i only ran 1 at a time, but you could probably do multiple if they were smaller. Time will tell how long this will last but it is very well built. Kind of a pain to clean but I dont view that as a negative to this product. I would like to see a water sprayer attachment built into the top so its more hands free and an improvement would be to mount the switch somewhere higher so you dont have to reach under it to turn on and off. 5 stars across the board. Worth the investment.

Just put it together (very easy, took 5 minutes) and am very impressed with the quality. Wasn’t sure what to expect for about half the price of the yard bird. We will be using it soon- I don’t do a lot of birds at a time but I think this is going to save a ton of time per bird! The size is perfect- we also do Pekin ducks and this looks plenty big (750 watt version)

Absolutely my best purchase ever by Vevor. I was able to process 27 chickens in 1 hour start to finish with this. The day before I processed 10 and it took 5 hours.

Great fir the price. I could only do one meat bird at a time and had to turn them over to get the other side of the bird
