I used this in an area that tends to stay wet and it has helped keep water from pooling underfoot. The hollow design lets water drain through while the surface gives enough grip that I do not feel like I am stepping onto a slippery mat. It is heavier and more durable than the thinner rolls I have used, although cutting it neatly took a little patience. The gray color hides dirt well and the mat is easy to rinse off when needed. Overall, this works well for wet areas where drainage and traction are more important than having a soft floor mat.

I’m using this on my back patio as a little barrier between my feet and the concrete, especially during the summer when the patio starts auditioning for the surface of the sun. So far, it has held up really well. It has been through a lot of direct sunlight, some hail, and normal patio furniture use with chairs and a table being moved around on it, and it’s not showing any noticeable wear. The material feels sturdy but still flexible enough to work with, and the drainage design makes sense for outdoor use. The only thing I had to do was pin down the corners. It wanted to get picked up by the wind, but that was easy enough to solve with some old abandoned tent stakes I had lying around. Not exactly a high-tech installation, but it worked. Overall, this has been a great value and a great product. It does exactly what I needed it to do, and it’s holding up better than I expected.

I got the 10' length, but after using it I wish I had purchased more initially. This cuts easily, yet it has now held up perfectly for weeks where it gets daily foot traffic. I like that it is similar to the metal grates used commercially to allow sand and grit to fall off, only on a much smaller scale and is soft on the feet. Sun or shade, it has not curled and is laying flat without sliding out of position.

This rubber type mat turned out to be a god send for us. We have a duplex that did not have the foundation filled in properly. Thus, now both sides have basements that get wet when it rains hard. This has been a worry since expensive foundation work is not possible for us right now. We needed a way to use the wet/dry vac and walk on the carpet, yet let the carpet dry. This mat fits the bill. The mat comes in a roll. You can calculate how much you need and simply cut it off the roll with heavy duty scissors. The beauty of this mat is that we can walk on it without tracking water, yet the honeycomb design allows the carpet to dry. It feels safe and stable underfoot. One thing to note is that the mat is fairly thin. It is not heavy duty as stated. It is not particularly cushy, but does add some cushion. I was expecting it to be thick and springy. It is not that. However, this might be a good thing in our case since perhaps it allows the carpet to dry faster. Being on carpet it does not slip. More importantly, we don't slip on the surface of it. The design makes it stable to walk on even if it is damp. I could see the versatility in this mat. I would use it outdoors, although due to its thin nature I'm not sure it would maintain durability if exposed to extreme heat and outdoor direct heavy rains. Overall I feel that while the mat is not as thick as expected it has worked for what we envisioned. It works in the basements to give us a dryer surface to walk and work on. The roll comes with a good amount. Since it is customizable as well, it is a good value for the current asking price.

I actually bought this for my greenhouse rather than a pool area, and it has been a total game-changer. I was constantly dealing with moisture and standing water on the floor, but this mat fixed that immediately. The hollow water-channel design is great because it lets the water drain right through so the surface stays dry. I’ve purchased several VEVOR products for my lawn and garden projects before, and the quality is always top-notch. This mat is no exception—the PVC material feels really durable and heavy-duty, but it was still flexible enough to unroll and set up easily. It also provides a really nice non-slip grip, which makes me feel much safer walking around on a wet floor. The best part is the value. I priced out similar drainage mats online and most were way more expensive. Getting a 3' x 10' roll of this quality at this price is an amazing deal. If you’re looking for a solid drainage solution that’s easy to clean and prevents falls, I highly recommend this!

When I first rolled this thing out and saw how thin it was, I was immediately going to give it a downgrade. However, once I got to examining the material I realized that's exactly the way it's supposed to be made. I'm not sure what kind of rubber this is but it is super durable and doesn't need to be thick in fact, the fact that this then made it fit exactly where I wanted to put it. It's very long, which is what we needed. It's incredibly durable, which comes as a shock to me. I would grade this as commercial just based upon the quality. Very flat, very water resistant, stays flat, an outstanding value for your money. Who did I mention it is a perfect non-slip surface? You couldn't slide on this if you wanted to. For this and all the reasons above I give it five stars.
