I have used my 8 frame extractor a few times now. It works well and is fairly easy to use. It's kinda tricky to reassemble. It could spin a tad faster on high but it gets the honey out. Overall value is very good and I am happy with it. I spun out about 150 pounds without issues. The honey gate is a little high and it's tough to get all the honey out.

Arrived without delays, packed professionally. The hinges are designed for countersink bolts, however flat head bolts were supplied. The electric circuit cover was screwed on top of one of the hinges so I had to remove to and correct. The metal bracket on which the motor is mounted is arched down a little which causes the plastic lids not fully closing. The legs are a bit wobbly. All the above are minor issues, to be honest. The instruction could have been printed a bit better (unclear) using a bit better English. Despite the above, assembling was quite easy and quick. Before I used it I had to clean the grease from the inside of the axle base (why put grease where it would mix with honey?). The motor is very quiet, the speed range is quite adequate. Being able to vary the speed is very important, as with full frames the device vibrates too much at higher speeds (which is expected as their weights would never be exactly the same). After most of the honey flew out I was able to crank the rotations to almost max. with only little vibrations. Overall I am satisfied, it does the job and it is a good value for money, in my opinion as far as a hobbyist-beekeeper like myself is concerned.

Matériel d'un bon rapport qualité prix pour un usage amateur. Juste un petit défaut, de conception, le fond est plat, ce qui ne facilite pas la vidange. Conique serait un vrai plus.

Purtroppo le viti del coperchio si sono svitate tutte da sole per le vibrazioni durante la smielatura e i rispettivi dadi sono caduti nel miele. Andrebbero previsti dei dadi autobloccanti, li sostituirò. Ho avuto modo di rivolgermi all'assistenza perché il primo smielatore è arrivato danneggiato: ottimo e rapido servizio.

Plutôt septique au départ mais je dois admettre qu'il fonctionne très bien ! 1er t'est avec extraction de 70 kg et le job est bien fait. Petit échauffement moteur constaté si on ne vide pas assez rapidement le miel du fait que les cadres seraient en contact avec et donc le moteur force un peu plus. Hâte de voir la longévité. En tous cas, parfait pour un apiculteur amateur. Je recommande.

This extractor made the process easy. You usually get what you pay for but in spite of the extractors low price the quality is above average. The variable speed works great and if your frames are balanced you can run at full speed. I have extracted with medium and deep frames with no issues. I have fastened the extractor down to the floor to provide stability. Easily disassembled for cleaning and storage. This is the second season I have used the extractor with no issues. Honey gate is too high off the bottom of the tank so I lowered it which required some TIG welding. Overall I am very happy with this extractor.
