Thought they were the auto ones but not so I will use them as they are

I picked up this 4-pack of VEVOR ratchet straps because the price was hard to beat for a complete kit. I needed some extra tie-downs for moving furniture and occasional yard waste runs. While they get the job done for simple tasks, they definitely feel like a "budget" product compared to my heavy-duty set. Key Features & Performance: Strap Quality: The specs claim a 2,200 lb break strength, but the 1-inch webbing feels significantly thinner than name-brand straps I’ve owned. They are fine for stabilizing a mattress or a lawnmower, but I would be hesitant to trust them with a heavy motorcycle or an ATV despite the rating. Ratchet Mechanism: The padded handles are a nice touch and make cranking comfortable, but the action isn't very smooth. Out of the box, two of the ratchets were a bit "sticky" and required some fiddling to release the tension. They work, but they lack the precision of higher-end gear. Safety Hooks: I like that the S-hooks come with safety latches—a feature often missing on cheap straps. However, the metal spring clips are very flimsy wire. One of them bent out of shape the first time I tried to unhook it from a tight spot. Value: This is the saving grace. You get four straps, soft loops, and a bag for less than the price of two premium straps. For light, non-critical hauling, the value is undeniable. Verdict: If you just need a spare set of straps for the occasional move or securing light cargo in a pickup bed, these are a solid value buy. However, if you are hauling valuable heavy equipment or using them daily, I’d recommend spending a bit more for a heavier-duty set with smoother mechanics.

I used these to secure my dirt bike, and two of them failed by bending. I won't be buying more.........

Will lock after a few use and the ratchet handle will get bent pretty easy trying to unstrap, had one lock on me with the load the only way oss was to cut the strap.

I have yet to use these ratchets, but I am definitely not happy that Vevor have spammed me with a survey email and do not offer *any way to unsubscribe. If fact their online help even says that you cannot unsub from their survey spam. This is a shoddy business practice. Survey emails are just marketing spam in disguise so it's very disappointing that I have no opt-out option. If they continue of course I will have to use a brute-force unsubscribe. Namely blocking.
