This is a really good general little belt grinder. Its small but don't let that fool you, It can grind a knife down, do bevels handle then sharpen it . It may take a little longer but if your in ance out hurry or production you should have gotten a professional one instead. This one is a good all around the shop grinder and belt swap is super easy..Two suggestions to make it better is a stiffer spring or a tension rod on the belt to keep it tighter and some bounce out of the belt. Also needs a bigger table or work on or offer a bigger add on.

Braucht noch etwas Fein Tuning. Die Bandspannung ist etwas zu hoch und es ist nicht alles im Winkel (eher Kosmetik) . Trotzdem perfekt fürs Geld.

Der Bandschleifer ist solide gebaut, funktioniert einwandfrei, die 25mm Bandbreite sind halt limitierten und bei mehr Druck /längerem Schleifen wird die Führungsplatte / Anlage des Bandes recht schnell heiß. Ich hab mir eine Hitzeschutzfolie auf die Anlage geschraubt, damit geht s gut. Für meine (Hobby) Zwecke bisher gut.

This is an incredible piece of equipment for the money. While it's not a 2x72 belt grinder, it's also 3-5 times less expensive and takes up considerably less room. For the the home hobbyist, or maybe beginning knifemaker or fabricator that doesn't want to invest the time or space required for a 2x72, there aren't a lot of options. This is replacing my old Delta 1x30 grinder, so I already have a collection of belts. However, you really can't compare the Vevor 1x30 to the Delta, or that old style of belt grinders. The Vevor seems to be built from the ground-up as a mini 2x72 grinder. Tilting head to be able to grind horizontal, quick change belts, and a VFD for truly adjustable speed from very low, to incredibly fast. The DC motor has plenty of torque and it won't stall like the old style 1x30 grinders like my Delta. So far I've ground some aluminum, steel, and some small wood projects and this has worked without issue. This needs to be mounted or secured for use. I mounted it to a 3/4" plywood base, and drilled a couple of holes to hold the small table and the large contact wheel, but I may change that design and build a small drawer under the base; A large piece of MDF might be better as it has a bit more weight. Vevor includes a few nice touches, such as the toolless lever to adjust the tool post, and another on the platen plate. However, everything else is a hex-bolt, so you need to keep hex wrench handy. I chose to add wing-head bolts instead, they were not that expensive, and are relatively esey to tighten by hand as-needed (see photos). The other thing I did was add a thin strip of bike rim tape to the drive wheel. It's completely flat, no crown at all; and while my unit tracked fine, I think it works just a bit better with the added tape on the drivewheel. I tried using the belt guard on the top, but it made belt changes rather difficult; so I've removed it and likely will just leave it off. I only have a few hours on this so-far, but for my diy home-hobby workshop, it's a definite winner. Being able to store this on a shelf when not in use, and having all the power I need for small projects is easily worth the price for this belt grinder.

The box it came in was really banged up- the motor was banged up pretty bad with paint chipped off. Will include pictures. I can’t really review the use or quality because we have t used it yet

Die Maschine hat eine sehr hohe Qualität,ist super einfach zu montieren. Sie lässt sich in verschiedenen Modifikationen nutzen, die auch mit geringsten Umbauzeiten verbunden sind. Das macht die Maschine extrem flexibel in der Nutzbarkeit. Mit Frequenzrichter ist das ganze noch besser nutzbar . Ich nutze die Maschine zum Messer schärfen, Metall schleifen oder auch zur Holz und Kunststoffbearbeitung. Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Top Gerät , sollte jeder Handwerker haben, ob Professionell oder fürs Hobby. Viel Spaß damit!

Die Maschine kam in einer Holzkiste an, gut verpackt und vollständig. Der Zusammenbau ist einfach. Alles hat gepasst. Habe eine Filzunterlage verwendet um Dröhngeräusche zu eleminieren. Der Anschlüsse am Frequenzumrichter sind nicht berührungssicher und haben keine Zugentlastung, hier muss nachgebessert werden. Idealerweise den FU in ein passendes Kunststoffgehäuse einbauen. Gut ist dass der Schutzleiter bis zum Motor durchverbunden ist und die Motoranschlüsse zufriedenstellend ausgeführt sind. Das Kabel zum Motor ist recht kurz, ich hab es ausgetauscht. Der Frequenzumrichter lässt sich leicht parametrieren mit den Info's im Handbuch. Habe die Abbremszeiten angepasst und Rechts/Links Lauf Eingänge aktiviert und beschaltet, so dass man den Bandschleifer nicht immer am FU ein- und ausschalten muss. Das erleichtern die Handhabe enorm. An der Leistung des Bandschleifers gibts nix zu meckern. Ich reduziere aber meistens die Drehzahl um genauer arbeiten zu können. Ausserdem ist er bei Vollgas natürlich recht laut. Neben den orginalen 82 Zoll Schleiferbändern (208 cm) passen auch 200x50 Bänder problemlos. Die sind meist besser verfügbar. Der Bandschleifer ist sehr solide aufgebaut. Alles in allem ein gutes Gerät. Klare Empfehlung.

De bandschuurmachine werkt goed, hij zat ook netjes en veilig ingepakt. Ik kan alleen nergens op internet andere schuurbanden vinden met de juiste maat, misschien heeft u een site waar ik deze banden kan bestellen?
