Saw cuts aluminum and steel very well. Very heavy send well made. Would recommend for anyone cutting metal stock.

Cleaner, quieter and faster than abrasive chop saws. Works great the only issue I have has so far is the blade lock pin came out, contacted Vevor, they are sending a replacement. The only downside is the little metal shavings from the cut but they are easily cleaned up with a magnet. Regret not buying one sooner.

I’ve been buying more and more Vevor products this year, and this chop saw is the one that really surprised me. Last year I picked up a traditional abrasive-wheel saw and just assumed the slow cuts and uneven edges were normal. Then I switched to this one with a metal blade—WOW. I had no idea how much time I’d been wasting not only waiting for cuts to finish, but then grinding everything flat afterward. This thing cuts metal the way a wood chop saw cuts wood. It’s honestly amazing. If you’re debating between a traditional abrasive saw and this style, do yourself a favor and go with this one.

I have a friction cut off saw, but that heats up the metal and burns the paint off. To get around that issue, I bought this cold saw. I'm very impressed with the speed and quality of the cut. I had to adjust the vice so the metal is cut square, but once that is set all the subsequent cuts were perfectly square. The only drawback I can see is that the angle markings on the vice are not very accurate. It means that you have to cut and check a few times to get the angle right before doing the final cuts. But that is no different to my Makita friction cut off saw. I can use this saw inside my garage without worrying about sparks and dust, and the cut metal is cold and won't burn you when you pick it up.

Have cut 1/2" plate, 1/4" wall Dom and it didn't skip a beat. Should have bought this year's ago.

I was skeptical when I bought the chop saw. i am very pleased with its cutting. i used it on 8 peace's of 4x4 x3/16 sq tube like butter. then cut 12 peace's. then I cut 2x2 x3/16 sq tube. 1/4 angle iron. setting the holding section to 0 is a pain you can't see the 0 and line to center it. I used a small square. against blade and stop. the lock that holds it in the down position could be made stronger, otherwise so far, a solid chop saw.

Should have purchased several years ago. Makes precise cuts with little to no burns on material. 4 times faster than my disc chop saw. Highly recommend to anyone in metal working.
