Well built and easy to assemble. I'd been looking for one that didn't need arms on either side. This is the perfect option where room was limited.

Cannot be more pleased with this product. It mounted to my hot tub with relative ease, and offers the right amount of assistance to raise and lower my cover. I have used this almost every day for past month, is stable and well designed.

Replaced a basic lifter that broke. Works well with the hydrolic assist as well as works as a good clamp to hold the lid down in high wind

Works great .but lift strut didnt work and company couldnt just sent a new part for it. Did offer $42 refund. Then was able to fix with a 50lb strut from Amazon. Very stable and sturdy so far been 3 weeks everyday use.

This VEVOR hot tub cover lift seems to be more heavy duty than the original OEM cover lift made by Jacuzzi that came with my hot tub. It looks like it will be the last hot tub cover lift I will ever need. My original cover lift did not cone with the strut that this one has. It does seem to help open the cover however the video associated with this product seems to imply that a petite Asian girl can open and close the cover by herself. I am a 71 year old man and I usually need help lifting mine. Hot Tub Covers cone in various thicknesses and mine is the thickest available. So the thickness and weight of your hot tub cover will play a factor in the ease of operation and life of the lift.

This is an awesome product, so easy to install and use, it has made it so much easier for me to take the lid off and use my spa

This lift was perfect. Works for our 7' round hot tub cover. We had quotes of more than 500.$ for round cover lifts. Besides working as advertised there is no hardwear installed onto the tub. Very pleased and good quality for the cost. Sry couldn't download a photo but the lift looks great and not obnoxious when not holding the cover.

The VEVOR Hot Tub Cover Lift work well. It is very easy to setup and it makes it easy to store the cover while you use the hot tub.

The physical quality is great. The instructions could use a bit of tweaking. Do to the lack of clearance between the brackets and side of tub, bolts hd to go in opposite direction from instructions. Also the bottom bolt for shocks is too long by around 1/4”. Other than these few issues, works great!

The lifter is primarily aluminium, with steel gas struts and stainless steel (304?) fasteners; it should be reasonably weather-proof and looks quite robust. There are some nice finishing touches like towel hooks and plastic caps for the fasteners. I couldn't find any instructions for the one I bought, so assembly was a bit of a challenge. The worst part is fitting the attachment brackets, which are screwed on to the cladding immediately under the lip of the shell; if your spa has cedar cladding you may need different screws to reach the framing underneath. The brackets have cut-outs intended to fit over any aluminium cover strips between the side and corner panels of the spa, but these are likely to be in the wrong place unless the spa has very tight-radius corners. In this case you will probably need to shorten the existing cover strips, use some packers under the screws, or make new cut-outs in the supplied brackets. As they are attached to both corner and side panels of your spa, you won't be able to remove the side panels without removing the lifter should you need occasional maintenance access. Not sure why they say these are only for spas over 175cm wide; our balcony spa is a fair bit narrower than that but I only needed to shorten one of the arms a little. Once put together the lifter works well, there is a lever on one of the gas struts which allows it to be raised or lowered, and locks it in position when released. The cover can be lifted easily by one person and raises to about an 85 degree angle as shown on the promo pictures. The lifter adds about 200mm to the spa width, and although they say it needs 500mm clearance behind, in reality you only need slightly more than double the thickness of your spa cover as a bare minimum. We're very happy with the purchase overall and would have given 5 stars if the fitting had been more universal and hadn't required some minor mods.
