I bought this as a solution to change my oil without draining the oil pan. First off, it doesn't have an electric pump like others. It's built very robust and durable. It has a manual pump that you can use to pull the vacuum. It has a connection that can be quick connected with an air compressor (better option less work).

Using my small air compressor, it sucked out the 5.28 quarts of oil from our Audi Q5 in just over five minutes. Just make sure the oil is warm. Now that I have it, future oil changes will cost $65-70 as opposed to the $220 the dealer wants. Do the math, then buy one!

I found this extractor easy to use, very straight forward, seems to be really good quality - certainly fit for purpose. This extractor makes it so easy to change my oil for my cars. The days of crawling under my car for an oil change have ended.

I can't explain how brilliant this tool is. I used it to do 3 services on Seadoos. One service on a sports car and also to drain fuel from a tank. Works great and has been a game-changer. Highly recommend. May even buy a second one so I can do vehicles at the same time. Also have only used the hand pump side, as it is plenty fast enough.
