bought two of these for front porch, dug holes beside the sidewalk and poured concrete for base. bolted handrails down to these bases and porch floor. now have two very sturdy handrails to hold onto while climbing porch steps. room enough between the two for a wheelchair ramp when the time comes. feel very safe and secure now going up the steps that I have become too old to use without handrails.

Nice quality unit. Looks good. Base fixings are a little close together with fairly tight holes requiring careful drilling. The hand rail feels quite rough to touch and my wife didn't like the feel of it. I thought it was fine!

J'ai commandé ce garde corps pour un escalier avec un petit muret. L'article a été livré très rapidement, très bien emballé, le colis était complet. La main courante semble être de bonne qualité (lourde et résistante). La pose a été très facile, et le résultat totalement à la hauteur de mes attentes, pour un prix extrêmement compétitif. J'ai choisi ce modèle car il correspondait à la forme "rétro" pour une maison ancienne, mais aussi car il était possible de recouper les montants à la hauteur souhaitée en fonction de mon muret.
