Useless for apples or pears. Needs a weighted presser plate to force them against the teeth. Would work well after that modification.

It’s not what I expected. The product looks good, both in the photos and in person. But to use it, you need two people—or three hands! It’s better not to use the cloth/mesh bags. They get caught and twisted between component 10 (press plate) and component 11 (inner basket), which hinders the movement of the press. When you reach the bottom, you need a third hand to hold component 12 (outer drum) in place so it doesn’t rotate along with the press. Very difficult to use!

Perfect for small batches. Easy to operate and way to clean. Does better when apples are cut in half. I have 600+lbs of apples and this was just too time consuming so I upgraded to electric

Pros: Get's the job done way better than squeezing by hand Easy to use and disassemble for cleaning Capacity is pretty big for a small tabletop unit Cons: Grinding of metal on metal between the screw and the plate creates metal dust that gets into your liquids Spout is a little high off the bottom so you need to tilt to extract the last of the juice

Expensive for what it is! Medium quality. Basic, but expensive!

I am very disappointed with the overall quality and workmanship of the VEVOR Fruit Wine Press. The wood quality (Top lid) is poor and doesn't meet my expectations. The top lid does not align properly with the bottom section, making the product difficult to use as intended. Additionally, the top lid has developed a crack near the screw fastening area, raising concerns about its durability and structural integrity. I expected better quality, craftsmanship, and quality control from VEVOR. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product unless the manufacturer addresses these quality issues and ensures that all components are properly manufactured, aligned, and securely assembled. I would appreciate a replacement unit that meets acceptable quality standards or a full refund if a suitable replacement cannot be provided.

poor description of its capabilities. nowhere did it disclose apples needed to be crushed or ground first. very close to a deceptive description. poor design also set screws are not sufficient
