Works very well. Great build quality. It is a little big in the head when clamping pex in a T, but it will work. Tool is heavy and bulky but for the price it is fantastic. Unless you use it for a living I would definitely recommend. If used daily you may want to invest in battery operated tool.

I am a novice at plumbing and often frustrated working with solder on wet pipes or small spaces so pro press fittings are a perfect alternative. For the price of this tool (Most comparable others costing exponentially more) I could get the job done with no frustration. It's hefty but manageable and easy to maneuver in all but the smallest spaces and compresses fittings and pipes watertight.

Easy to use generally, the weight and the wrap around approach makes it hard to use in tight spaces. You need to be mindful of space between the pipework and the wall to be able to crimp a connection. Also be careful since the weight can cause unwanted slip in the press fitting and always double check the inspection holes in the connector before tightening it. Other than that i was able to crimp around 30 fittings without issues.

I did a test run press fitting pipe to fittings to get the hang of it. On my first attempts at 3/4 pipe replacement lieaked. I hadn’t pushed the arms till they made contact with each other I contacted Vevor to see if I could repress the installed fittings they said problem. I then using full strength repressed them no leaked a month later and the joints look clean. I’m in 60’s and needed to use 75% strength.

Great for pres together plumbing projects, as long as you’re working out in the open, water heaters, etc.. if you need to put something together in a tighter space though, you can’t get the mouth of the tool over the top to lock in place to make your crimp, could possibly be engineered more like the cordless propress where you can clamp on like polars from two sides instead of having to go over the top to lock in

Works great price was right. Wish it had more dies. Contacted Vevor to see about getting more but never heard from them.

Crimping is okay, but jaws are to plump for Crimping T-joints
