I am just a DYIer who's remodeled my parents house to prepare for rental and works full time on a farm with 4 buildings, mostly plumbed with copper and now a little PEX as well. I've sweated copper for anumber of years and when we had a house fire nad the insurance's plumber replaced most piping with PEX, I decided to get a press tool and the fittings for both copper crimp rings on Pex and the ProPress jaws for several sizes of Copper. I have a large assortment of Makita tools and wanted something for that battery platform. This fit the bill and like all the other Vevor tools I've owned (probably10-15 in the shop for cars and farm equipment) it does not disappoint. I've used it on about 20-30 fittings thus far (about half PEX and half copper) and even as a novice, every connection held perfectly on the first try. Great tool - a little heavy, but that is expected from something this powerful.

Brad Awesome tool
This thing is actually awesome. I have manual crimpers for small repairs at home but we are renoing the whole house and I decided to replumb it while we are wrecking walls anyway. Put approximately 120 crimps on it and it worked great. Had to swap the battery out after about 90 crimps. Overall very pleased with this purchase. Only place it couldn't get it to work was on my copper to pex manifold. Not the machines fault. A ridgid or milwaukee would not have fit their either. Had to resort to the manual crimpers for the manifolds
