Tres bien pour commancer. Idealement, faire un badigon au mortier refractaire a l'interrieur... Sinon ca chauffe fort.

Happy..................................................................................................!

I was so surprised. The gas forge is almost perfect. I took it to blacksmith workshop and my friends were also really happy about the price/quality ratio. I would 100% recommend and buy again. For welding temperature it must be placed inside and some kind of door must be used on both sides to keep all the heat inside the forge. Without the door and with a little breeze the max temperature is about 1000°C. 10kg PB bottle lasts about 10 hours with one burner.

Vert Handy use it for a branding furnace in my farm just for to be careful not to get it to hot 🔥

Ich habe es schon benutzt. Alles ist toll, aber ich hätte mehr kaufen sollen.

I bought this as my first forge and it performs very well. There are considerations and care that must be taken when using it, but this should be expected of any forge at this price point. I coated the firebox using a stiffening spray and then 3-4 coats of refractory cement to isolate and trap the insulation fibers and retain the heat. It's possible to use the forge if you skip this step, but it becomes a respiratory hazard if you're working in an enclosed space and this is true of all mineral wool forges. I also added additional firebricks at the front and rear as doors to further isolate the heat. Again, you can get metal to forging temperature without these, but they will save a lot of fuel and keep your shop much cooler while allowing you to reach higher temperatures. All in all I had no problems with the regulator or burner and once you get it dialed in you can forge some pretty significant pieces in this little thing. I've worked 1/2" square stock and 3/8"x1" flat stock without issue - it will get there if you're patient and running at the right fuel/air ratio. I find I use about 1-2 lbs of propane per hour of forging.

Easy to assemble and use. Works great; heats and reheats metal quickly to temperature.

This is the second one of these I’ve bought. I went a little crazy with flux while learning to forge and it ate up my refractory cement. I just bought a new one Vice trying to repair the old one. Works well for smaller projects.

I use this forge in my shop don't know what I would do with out it.

Ça fait déjà un moment que j'utilise cette forge, je suis très satisfait ! J'ai pu réaliser mes premières créations, notamment des couteaux forgés grâce à celle ci. Elle est très intuitive, et chauffe très vite. Je recommande vivement !
