I b it because I needed a place to keep straps and such. It is well made. Although don't like the lock cover. Any bump and it slides open and doesn't protect the keyway.

Perfect size , exactly as described. Lockable. The only down side is the o ly way to keep the lid closed is to lock it. I was hoping that it would latch without locking.

Overall, this is a good deal. While not top-of-the-line, it matches the quality of boxes costing far more. The latch and strut work well. I recommend adding some loctite to the latch screw internally. The weather seal doesn't do much while traveling on dusty roads; an upgrade will be needed.

Got thisnyo installl on my grand design travel trailer, to hause 2 LiPO batteries that arenbigger (and more expensive) than tbe old standard lead acid batteries. Metal gage is thick, quality materials, (lock and hydraylic damper) construction and workmanship. Gorñt thr batteries secured and protected (locked) using the metal battery tray and brakets used for trucks, bolted to the box. Highly recommended, .

Like the title says, hard to complain about but there are some slight flaws. Locking mechanism is flimsy and needs another strut on the other side of the lid. When you operate the lid it has a tendency to twist a bit but overall a good box for a trailer or back of an ATV.
