The item is not as tall as every picture in there page the height is literally waist height I was expecting for the shelf’s too be tall as it portrayed in the images. The product is amazing for holding physical media at least, the locking mechanism on the left door does not lock. Unfortunately wouldn’t buy again even though the assembly was easy.

So, there's a subset of manufacturing design called "Design for Logistics". Simplified, Design for Logistics means that an unassembled item is designed in such a way that when the pieces are placed in a box, as many boxes as possible can be placed on a pallet. That way they can ship overseas as many products as possible on their container ships. This item is an excellent example of Design for Logistics and the polar opposite of Design for Quality or User Experience Design. In other words it is not made with the customer in mind, it is made to make the manufacturer as much money as possible in the shortest period of time. It is made of the absolute thinnest materials possible, that can be manufactured and assembled and still retain their integrity, briefly (a practice that is sometimes known as chàbuduō). It is made up of somewhere around a hundred parts if you include fasteners. It will take you from 2.5-3 hours to assemble and in that time you will find holes that were incorrectly drilled, missing parts and even areas that should have a hole and receiver, but were never completed. The Quality Assurance must be terrible. The drawers are made from the cheapest, thinnest cardboard/fiberboard and covered with the same material that has a fake woven pattern pressed into it, that is usually used to cover fine electronics when shipped. It has absolutely no lasting integrity, its literally made for temporary use as a dust cover to be disposed of after use, basically a few steps up from tissue paper (you'll see what I mean in the pictures). I dragged my finger across when pulling it out of the package and the fabric ripped. Not just a little, an inch long rip from just the friction of my finger being dragged across it as I pulled it out of the plastic bag! The material was actually being pulled up from the fiberboard. You can see from the picture how incredibly thin the material is, as you can also see the cardboard/fiberboard through it. It is beyond me that a company could release something like this to the public and think that it would be accepted without noticing the way that it is made.

This company is by far the WORST company I've ever dealt with. They offer "solutions" which don't help at all. Additionally, the product itself is a cheap piece of garbage which WILL fall apart soon. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!
