After a short learning curve on my part, I am very pleased with this machine. The included instructions are not the best but just add in a little common sense, practice and perhaps the right YouTube video, you'll get great results. The trick is correctly setting the drill/chuck alignment in the left hand port. The first few time you do this, it is easy to misalign the drill while tightening the chuck. Always confirm visually that the flutes of your drill are parallel with the flats on the chuck. The little machine is heavy and well built. It uses ER-32 style collets. Typically you find these on precision machine tools, CNC machines and higher end wood routers. That is a good sign of quality. They work very well but require that you understand how to use them. They "snap" in to the chuck cap and are held firmly. To remove from the cap, you tilt the collet to the side and it pops out. Both of these actions require that the collet be empty. At least two YouTube reviewers that I watched did not use the collets properly. Several Reddit posts thought the ER cap was machined incorrectly. It wasn't. Choose wisely. The drill size limitation 2mm (~5/64") to 13mm (~33/64") is not a big deal. Drills less than 5/64" are usually never sharpened, just replaced anyway. Larger would be nice, but it's not too hard to manually sharpen drills over 1/2" diameter. Admittedly all my twist drills are ground at the same 118 degrees and I only bother to split the points of drills 3/16" and larger. I have not tried other settings. This machine works very well for me and is miles ahead of my previous "well known" drill sharpener.

I have gone years looking for a decent drill bit sharpener. Although a little high for my budget, I decided to buy this sharpener after reading other reviews and watching several videos. Let me tell you, it was well worth it. Never again will I have to grab a bit wondering if it was a little on the dull side. I am in the process of sharpening every used bit I own. I have already sharpened around 40 from 1/8 up to 1/2. Quality of the sharpened bit is exceptional. Being able to put a split point on every bit is a huge plus. Never again will I have to take my chances with my grindstone wondering if I managed to get the angle or the edge just right. Don't bother with anything else. Other bit sharpeners either don't do the job right or take way too much time. I can sharpen a bit in under a minute. I love it!

Doing steel frames for decking, we go through A LOT of drill bits. Tried several other brands and this one is by far the best ever. Takes a little practice (I'd suggest some YouTube videos). But once you get the hang of it, literally less than 30 seconds to sharpen a bit better than new. Great buy.

I've owned a Drill Doctor for years and have had mixed results with it. I recently saw a machinist's video review of the Vevor drill bit sharpener vs the Drill Doctor, and based on his review I chose to buy the Vevor drill bit sharpener. When I received it I spent several hours sharpening at least 200 drill bits, every one turned out excellent! This was a very smart purchase and I highly recommend it to others.

Had to wait till it was in stock again, once ordered it arrived withing a week. (Netherlands) Pretty heavy, great quallity and very easy to use after watching a Youtube video or two. Sharpening of a drill takes less than 1 minute.
