The 1" x 30" grinder has turned out to be a very useful tool. It's idea for fabricating small parts in steel and aluminum. Like any unfamiliar piece of machinery, you have to learn how to make the correct adjustments. About 15 minutes into use, it was running smoothly. The variable speed makes it very versatile when working with a variety of materials. A vast variety of belts are available which makes it all the more useful

Every piece of this has been excellent for knife and sword making. Plenty of power, the provided attachments are excellent, and swapping them out is simple once you've gotten used to it - just two handle turns for most of them. I am exceptionally happy with my purchase.

After checking all the different 1x30s your differently look like the best, seen 2 ior 3 things on you tube that said you have to add washer here and there and other things, I haven't had any problems at all tracks great out of the box in

On l utilise en variation de vitesse, mais pour inverser la rotation et autre paramètres je vais devoir l etudier avec Google traduction. Sinon parfait . Dommage de n avoir que 3 bande identique vu le prix investi...

Can go wrong with the price , option's and tooling that come with it , works as should . Zero issues after 2 years of ocassional use

Just unpacked this BEAST. Man what a great deal this is. The quality is evident simply in the overall weight of this thing. My son had to help me get it into my shop from front yard where the truck left it. Was shocked at the overall size, this thing is legit ! The 12" wheel is super smooth, haven't had a chance yet to test out the Platen or the small wheels but they look good to go. My only complaint really would be that the ability to tighten everything up enough so as it won't move takes some time but can be done. Also on the work surface they have some screws coming up into the work surface that will need to be grinded smooth, otherwise they interfere with grinding. I read some where that this can be easily converted into a regular 2x72. I will need to look into that a bit more to determine how and get the right belts. My first grind was to repair a badly damaged Chisel. It took care of it in less than 5 seconds, getting it back to a state that it can be properly sharpened. Only reason it isn't a 5* across the board for me is that the instructions for operating the power terminal are VERY poor, this will take some time to understand and figure out Overall Couldn't be happier. Great purchase and great value!
