Despite some poor reviews, I found my grinder was well adjusted and performs well straight out of the box. Some practice is required to set the belt tracking, but once set the belt tracks well even under load. Good value for the money.

Good machine for the price. Fewer quality control issues than some youtube videos talked about.
For the one I purchased:
~ the drive wheel, tracking adjusting wheel, and the vertical platen wheels do not track in the same plane. I am figuring how to bring them into alignment so that the belts track correctly.
~ the lower wheel on the vertical platen does not turn freely … bearing already bad?

Vevor's 1x30 Belt Grinder is a unique tool and does a great job. Some improvements to quality of build could be made but for the price it's hard to beat. I am happy with my purchase
