I recently purchased this 2x72 grinder. Its strong and just what I needed for knifemaking. I do wish the work rest was larger but I am satisfied with it.

Le Roi de l'Affûtage Great for beginners
Very solid and heavy. I'm still in the early stages of learning how to use it properly, but I think that for a first 2x72 aspiring knifemaker, you can go wrong. Got it during a Labour Day sale at an excelent price and have no regrets. Out of the box it's been very useful to speed up sharpening mower blades and I'm slowly learning how to use it for stock removal on knife blanks. Very happy with my purchase.
One of the few things that could be improved is that the VFD could use more instructions (there are basically none) and it needs to be protected from dust.
