Just unpacked this BEAST. Man what a great deal this is. The quality is evident simply in the overall weight of this thing. My son had to help me get it into my shop from front yard where the truck left it. Was shocked at the overall size, this thing is legit ! The 12" wheel is super smooth, haven't had a chance yet to test out the Platen or the small wheels but they look good to go. My only complaint really would be that the ability to tighten everything up enough so as it won't move takes some time but can be done. Also on the work surface they have some screws coming up into the work surface that will need to be grinded smooth, otherwise they interfere with grinding. I read some where that this can be easily converted into a regular 2x72. I will need to look into that a bit more to determine how and get the right belts. My first grind was to repair a badly damaged Chisel. It took care of it in less than 5 seconds, getting it back to a state that it can be properly sharpened. Only reason it isn't a 5* across the board for me is that the instructions for operating the power terminal are VERY poor, this will take some time to understand and figure out Overall Couldn't be happier. Great purchase and great value!

Insgesamt guter Artikel mit klarer Kaufempfehlung! Zwei Dinge sind Verbesserungs würdig. Die Verkabelung ist nicht so toll hier wäre eine Steckerlösung empfehlenswert Und insgesamt wäre ein längeres Kabel Klasse. Sonst alles selbsterklärend. Für technisch nicht so versierte Kunden wäre eine Aufbau Anleitung vielleicht nützlich

This machine was a pleasant surprise. A lot of good stuff is included in the package! I had to do some modifications to it for my own personal use though. I had to cut the platen arm down by 1.5" to be able to properly use it. The platen requires some adjustment --it's not just plug & play, and the platen surface itself is poor, but an easy fix: wear out the one it comes with, then get a ceramic platen online for about 15 bucks and stick it on there (remove all remnants of the original first). A couple words of caution to the user: 1) the tracking on this machine is sensitive, so go slow until you get a good feel for it; and 2) the wire connections on the VFD are a little sketchy. The wires on mine fell out as I was mounting the box on the wall. Easy fix, but not one a user should have to make. Over all, I am pleased with it.

What i like is variable speed control for higher grit belts and runs on 120v. Heavy duty construction.

I use this to re-establish damaged blade edges. Super nice machine. The variable speed control is a must for what I do. It is a small but mighty machine! Highly recommend for anyone. Would be interested in 2x72 machine.

Un excellent rapport qualité prix, pour qui se lance dans le montage de couteau, ça me paraît très bien. Livraison rapide dans un colis bien adapté. Juste deux vis à resserrer suite aux vibrations lors du transport. Montage assez intuitif, réglage vitesse efficace, premiers essais tout à fait satisfaisants.
