I bought this sander to help me in my basement renovations. It's definitely worth the money. I'm using this paired with a shop vac and a cyclone, which makes dust collection very awesome. It picks up 99% of the dust. It's a bit cumbersome tho with all the tubing. The led is very powerful, and lets me see how awful I am at finishing. I don't think I would use it as a professional tool tho, it's relatively heavy.

Used it to sand drywall after skim coating. Worked well but was a little heavy for the ceiling. Dust bag does not work but I swapped it for a dust collector with my shop vac and worked great, no dust.

First time using an electric drywall sander. Wish I had one before. Speeds up the sanding process and pretty easy to use. Gets a little heavy using above the head on ceilings but still much quicker. Once you learn the right grit sand paper to use... it's fast and does a nice job.

this thing makes short work of sanding drywall seams. my girlfriend was going to sand her garage seams by hand. i could not let her do that. i purchased this drywall sander and it was a bit heavy. i was just rear ended and my back is bad. however, when my girlfriend wanted to try this sander on her drywall...you know i had to try it too. i am 6'4" and to my surprise this sander work fast. we tried it on a thick wavy piece on her wall first and with the 80 grit sand paper it was a few seconds. on the cieling it was moving so fast i did not have time to think of my back. ok, maybe i did but i had to make her happy. she wants to put a second coat on where it is thin then finish by gradually going finer and finer till it is smooth to paint. we loved how the sander did not need a vaccuum to suck the dust into the dust bag. it blows it so hard with out the bag you will know why we put the bag on. we did sand above several rolling shelving units because we could reach over them with out moving them. like i said, it was fast. thank you vevor for making this the least expensive drywall sander out there. it made a great gift to help my girlfriend. now if i could get my back to stop hurting from the crash... not your fault vevor. thank you

This turned out to be an awesome investment. I've used it hundreds of times. Quick trick to help keep the dust down. Buy a jose attachment kit and some additional hose to connect to a shop vac. I have 50feet of hose and dust is minimal. Just about any 9" sanding disc works, but the holes may not line up. I have a punch that I use so the shop vac helps keep the dust down.
