10" 3 jaw chuck fo under £100

Made a back plate to adapt it to my 1959 Edgewick MK1 lathe. Once in place had about 0.0015 run out, mostly from the lathe it's self. The jaws were not perfectly alined but easy fix ran boring bar through centre with carbide insert. Part two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zimH9Y6HHEc The jaws can be put in any slot as long as you pay attention to where the teeth catch. Only other thing I would say is that I have been having to take the jaws out after each use to clean out chips. Jaws stick if I don't do that. Value for money you could not beet it. Might buy one of the smaller one's to fit in to tail stalk with morse taper 3 and back plate to suit.

Good product does what it says on the box

The product arrived on time was well packaged. I had to make an adapter plate to fit my back plate as mine was to small for the new chuck. Now sorted it works well and is a good peace of gear . Jaws adjust up well and are easy to turn round for larger material. All in all a good product and wood recommend it .

I bought the 10 inch and its good runout is good one piece body the only iffy is the plastic cover on the back for the ring gear cover but it seals good with the plastic so maybe not a fault

Good item, no back plate.

Looks and feels excellent, based on the build but I haven't been able to use it yet because it needs a back plate. Wouldn't it make sense to include one
