El mecanizado y la precisión es muy buena. Lo he montado en mi torno HBM 320x900 sin ningún problema. No obstante, recomiendo desmontarlas las mordazas y hacerles una limpieza a fondo y aceitarlas al vonver a instalarlas. He encontrado restos de virutas del mecanizado bajo las mordazas desmontables, que aunque no evitan que funcione bien, la limpieza el posterior aceitado es muy beneficioso. Asi mismo, he retirado la tapa posterior de plástico y aunque aquí si estaba limpio, he añadido más grasa a los engranajes para hacer la apertura y cierra de las mordazas mucho más suave y agradable.

Je cherchais depuis longtemps un Camlock D1 4 à prix abordable. Les mors sont un peu dur à ouvrir / fermer. Très bonne concentricité, vérifiée au comparateur à cadran et c'est le plus important. A noter : serrage minimal 11mm

Sehr preiswertes Futter, robust und gut verarbeitet. Den Camlockflansch kann ich nicht bewerten, habe einen Flansch für meine Maschine gedreht. Die originale Rundlaufgenauigkeit ist für diesen Preis ok (0,07mm gemessen mit Feintaster), durch Nachbearbeitung der Futterrückseite konnte ich das noch etwas verbessern. War ein guter und nützlicher Kauf, kann ich empfehlen.

This chuck was stiff on arrival from leftover machining dust. I disassembled it (easy to do), cleaned all the parts, and reassembled with super lube. The unit is now nice and smooth. Accuracy with a 1/2 in pin gauge chucked is around .001", which is in the same ballpark as the lathe spindle (12x35 Grizzly), so hard to fault the chuck for this application. It was best at one location, so I put timing marks on that position. The unit has a nice range with bolt-on reversible jaws, so very handy for grabbing tubing or other hollow objects.

Came in with smashed box and had been retaped, problem with the shipper not Vevor. Bolts for backing plate were missing, once again I believe because of the broken box. Chuck itself seems to be fairly well made and heavy, jaws are a good fit. Very gritty so had to take apart and clean before use. Mounted and tried it, and T.I.R. was .0075". Set it up and did a minor grind to the jaws and have it to .002" T.I.R. Will run it for a while to loosten it up and then final grind it. I have had to do this with others too. Seems pretty common. All in all it seems pretty good. Backplate runout on face was about .0002" and outside was .0001", very good.

This is a surprisingly good chuck. When I got it, the first thing I did was disassemble and clean it. There were no chips or grinding grit, but the oil was dirty (gritty?). The only thing this thing needs is about an hour of deburring, every edge was sharp. Using a 1 x 4" dowel pin, I was getting less than .002" runout, both at the chuck and 2-1/2" away. Buena construccion del mandril y de las garras intercambiables.Viene completo con la placa posterior para tornos con amarres rapidos aunque en mi caso no sirvio.Lo unico un poco negativo es que esta bastante duro abrir y cerrar las garras.

Did not come with screws to bolt to faceplate after trip to Home Depot worked out fine. Good quality for price. Chuck has .002 thousands run out after install.
