I had seen these used by people I follow on different social media platforms. I hadn't had much need for one until a pending winter storm. My son is a pilot and owns a Piper Archer II airplane. I decide with the approaching storm to order the unit. In order to make it work for our application, we headed to the big box stores and the local hardware stores. We created a longer battery connection cable, bought some extra metal flexible pipe and wanted a "Y" to not only heat the engine compartment but the cabin area to warm the instruments. I would suggest that you read the instruction before standing in on a airport ramp in the cold with the wind blowing. Once we got it fired up... WOW! that little unit was putting out the heat in a big way. it warmed the engine compartment up in no time at all. Once that was ready we moved the duct work to the cabin. And just like that he was prepared to call out, "Clear Prop". It has only been used that one time. I am already thinking how I can use it in my outdoor shop and also at our cabin for emergency heat in the winter. I've got some ideas, we'll see how they work out. My recommendation - Buy the heater. You'll be glad you did.

Na lange periode van gebruik op diesel heb ik laatst en kannetje met afval (benzine/olie mengsel) erin gedaan. Geen probleem, het apparaat werkt perfect. Bluetooth en de afstandsbediening werken ook perfect.

Positiv überrascht, gute Garagenheizung für meine Bedürfnisse

Das ist mittlerweile meine 3. Vevor Dieselheizung, eine läuft in den Wintermonaten 24 Stunden, 7 Tage die Woche und bis zu 6 Monate seit 3 Jahren zuverlässig in meiner Werkstatt. Eine 2. habe ich in unser Gartenhaus eingebaut, die sich an kühlen Sommertagen abends beim Grillen absolut bewährt hat. Und die 3. Dieselheizung halte ich ständig als Ersatz vor, falls mal eine Probleme macht. Da die Displays und Steuerplatinen sich geändert haben, wurden alle Dieselheizungen auf eine Platine mit Fernbedienung die ebenfalls über ein Display verfügt, umgerüstet. Auch ist bei neueren Heizungen die Abstufung der Heizleistung sehr grobschlächtig, wie ich feststellen musste, sodass es einen Austauscht der Steuerplatine notwendig machte. Was ich jedem empfehlen kann ist, die Heizung einmal im Jahr zu zerlegen, zu reinigen und das Mischsieb um die Glühkerze zu erneuen. Nach spätestens 2 Jahren sollte man den Motor ausbauen, zerlegen (geht problemlos) und ihn vom Abrieb der Kohlebürsten mit Druckluft zu säubern. Spätestens dann, wenn das Display Fehlercode 06 anzeigt. Aber selbst ein kompletter Austausch des Motor (habe ich schon gemacht) kostet keine 40,- € Das neue Dichtungen verwendet werden, versteht sich von selbst.
