Great heater for shops

Shipped as promised. Heater is awesome! Installed in side by side. 4 degrees out and number 2 setting is perfect

This unit is really great. I took it on a mining trip and used it in my pop up trailer. One night it was 18*. It produces a lot of heat fast. It hardly used any fuel in two weeks. It didn't bring my battery down but about half a volt an evening . I didn't run 24/7, but easily could have. My solar cells easily kept up to it, and I was running another 14 amp device off the same battery. I'm very pleased with it, and will buy a second for backup. I'll be buying the winch and chainsaw next.

I bought the Vevor 8 kW diesel heater to heat my 2-car garage, and once it’s set up correctly, it works very well. It has no problem warming the space, even on low to mid settings (SoCal winter weather), and it puts out far more heat than a 1500W electric oil heater. A few important tips for new users: Startup voltage matters a LOT. A weak or partially charged car battery will cause ignition errors and white smoke. Once I ran it with a stable power source, it fired right up. The heater only comes with two thin power wires. I highly recommend adding proper 15-amp battery clamps and heavier gauge wire. This makes a big difference during startup. Even better: if you’re using it in a garage, order a dedicated 12V AC power supply (15A or higher). That gives stable voltage and makes starts 100% reliable. Make sure the fuel line is fully primed and the tank isn’t low — air in the line will cause failed starts. Let it run at least 30 minutes on the first successful run to burn off residue and stabilize combustion. Once running properly: Strong, steady heat Minimal smoke Normal exhaust and outlet temperatures Very low fuel consumption for the amount of heat produced This heater isn’t “plug and play,” but if you understand diesel ignition basics and take care with power and fuel setup, it’s an excellent value for the price. I’d absolutely buy it again.

This is the second one i have purchased. I use to heat my garage, very good source of heat for low cost. Runs reliably, no troubles so far.
