I'm not an electrician, it was difficult to set up. I stayed diligent and was able to program and make the necessary connections. The ability to adjust the ramp up speed and deceleration is far superior to the more simple single to 3 phase converter. Also adjusting the parameters specifically for my motor and application has got to do some good for the life of the motor. I have become a fan over VEVOR, a was cautious at first, but have been happy with their products. The combination of the vfw and the 3 phase air compressor has opened opportunities for me. It a verry good unit for a 10 hp hydro vane compressor soft start. And slow and rapid stop.

Application on a 3phase compressor worked great. Wish i would have know this earlier. Recommend if you dont have three phase power.

This vfd is great it powers my big air compressor great thanks vevor it's easy to wire it up and is very powerful

The manual could be more detailed on the parameters. The manual does not list all the parameters in the unit so im not sure if they are correctl set. . Im only running a straight 60hz motor with no adjustments to the Hz. For the short time using the VFD it is working perfectly. Much cheaper then buying a rotory phase converter.

Heb wel een ster schakeling toegepast omdat in driehoek (delta) de motor te warm wordt. Volgens de manual zou driehoek schakeling mogelijk moeten zijn? Blijft voldoende koppel over om ook grote boren met een rpm van 200 te laten werken. Een technische vraag over de omvormer werd binnen 24 uur behandeld door de klantenservice en verliep over drie afdelingen, was erg onder indruk.

I am surprisingly pleased by this VFD, so much I bought a second one for a backup just in case. This works great on a small milling machine with a 2 HP 3-P motor. The only complaint is the documentation is terrible. They instructions don't explain what programming features actually do. And the nomenclature (that's being nice, some of it is gibberish) is poor. But once you figure it out by experimentation, you get the drift. For the money, this is a nice unit. If you have a coupon or discount code, all the better. I mounted mine in an older tool post grinder box and moved the display out to the cover. I also transferred the controls to a separate box where I used momentary push buttons to control on/off and reverse, but the programming and potentiometer is still on the original display. This unit has surprisingly many ways to farm-out controls to remote switches using the X1 - X6 and SP1-SP2 terminals. Of note, the unit shows a terminal with a 12 VDC output and the manuals says that's 15 VDC but both are incorrect. The output on that B+ is 13.8 VDC, which I use to power a digital hall effect tachometer. Vevor needs to do a better job with the documentation otherwise, I'd recommend this unit for small machines with 3-P motors.

arrived promptly and well packaged. Works well and was very easy to programme, lacks some of the finer controls of the more advanced units (which are not really needed) but this aids in making the programming simpler , in fact you could use it straight out of the box and have it work. One essential thing that needs to be added is a cable support for the mains wiring. I added 3 cable glands on a right angle bracket mounted underneath the wiring terminal strips, easily done and adds a lot of safety.
