The thin straps of aluminum that go across the ramps do bend down slightly on first use. I figured they would - its more of a cosmetic thing in my opinion than anything. Used them to roll off a racecar from my trailer and worked great. My trailer is an 18ft beaver tail - so already having some angle then adding these long ramps - the bottom of the ramp was not flat with the ground due to the shallow angle. Just be careful once the tires reach that point if that "foot" so to speak is unsupported the ramps may want to teeter up and off the trailer ledge. I just plan to make a wedge (like a very thin chock) to fit under to prevent this. Again this is because of my trailer setup and the shallow angle I need for such a low ground clearance vehicle I'm loading / unloading. I'd still highly recommend.

Mitch Good quality for the price
Have used these to load and unload my 3,000 lbs car several times now. I've got to say it was sketchy the first couple of times, I wasn't 100% sure about it. But I figured that since my car was only about half the rating, it would be fine, and it has been.

During an anticipated move, I was planning on how to move my golf cart that was going to be necessary on the new farm property. I tried every avenue. Rental companies which provide trucks and trailers..... Auto transporters, friends with pickups, EVERYTHING. No solutions. So I bought these to haul the golf cart in a rental truck load we were transporting some of our stuff in. I backed the truch into the drainage ditch in front of the house, and built a "bridge" to drive the cart into the truck. Worked perfectly.
Now, we have a lot of uses for these on the farm, especially for elevating the mowers and cart to work underneath!
