Get good drill bits meant for stainless, the ti coated ones I first tried to use were worthless and snapped/work hardened the stainless. Go slow with lots of lube. That goes the same for cutting, higher pressure and slow with coolant/lube. I wrecked a band saw blade going too fast and work hardening the stainless. In the end the stainless screws that came with the post hardware were incompatable and just galled up/stripped out/deformed, I wound up drilling up a size tapping and bolting them to the posts with zinc coated JIS bolts.

Handrail is difficult to cut. I used a metal blade /fibre on my chop saw for a 90 degree cut at 39 inches. I wouldn't even attempt to hand saw this rail. It is stainless steel and very hard to drill and cut.

Andrew Hard to drill, no guidance

Drilling the holes for the screws is near impossible. Even after buying the 100% all carbide bit made for steel you’re still talking at least five minutes per hole. They also don’t give you any guidance on what size of hole to make for the screws. I had to research online and ended up with a 7/32” bit. When I contacted support pointing out the extreme difficulty and lack of guidance and asked for a return they declined and said there was nothing wrong with the product. It just didn’t meet my expectations and only offered to refund me 70 bucks.
