Purchased this unit to replace a Victron unit that had failed. When I purchased the unit I was able to get it to do what I needed. The settings were straight forward and the MPPT is quick to optimize as conditions changed. I am running it nearly maxed out at ~49 amps where it cycles up and down. The voltage is 24v. It has never failed nor shown any signs of failure. In 179 days it has passed through 414.496 kWh thought the unit. I dinged it two stars because the app is difficult to use and requires multiple clicks to get into the data. It doesn't include the ability to aggregate the data. When I load it I was hoping for a summary of the condition of the panels. It is difficult to use if you do not know exactly what does what. There is no wifi, but the app does allow you to go through the process as if it is available. Still, this is a good MPPT and a great price. I would highly recommend it for those that are going to set it and forget it. It is solid feeling and doesn't get too hot even when stressed. Would buy again (if the voltage was higher on MPPT). Thanks Vevor. You saved me from having a significant part of my generation portfolio unavailable.

We got two of these on my farm. One is for the water pump and one is for a chicken brooder. I can hook up two 250watt solar panels and keep my LifePo4 or car batteries charged. I'll be reading the specs better next time, the 50A is a little overkill for my little car battery but it's better to be over powered than under.

This controller is amazing. Flawless MPPT tracking performance. Very efficient down-conversion to battery voltage - in my case panel voltage about 61V and LiFeP04 24V / 100AH batter bank. The Bluetooth monitoring is excellent as is the capability to modify parameters remotely. Set up is very easy. The reported data is great to monitor system performance and the numbers presented are accurate. So far I have only run it up to 360W - 12.5A charge current. (I need a few more panels to get to full power limit - and a bit more sunshine), but at that level, not even slightly warm - admittedly cold day and ideal mounting position. Highly recommended for a small to medium off-grid system.
