Gary Great compact hose reel
A solid hose reel, the 1/2" size and 65' length makes it very compact, perfect for a smaller yard like ours.
The springs are strong and the winding mechanism works well.
Comes with mounting hardware for the pivot mount, and the axle is easily removable for moving the reel around.
The weakest part might be the handle, and my package was crushed during transit, bending it. But customer service took care of it quickly a shipped me a new handle which was easy to replace.

Denver Dave Finally, a hose that doesn’t turn my backyard into a snake pit of tangled vinyl and broken dreams.
This VEVOR retractable hose reel is basically the “set it and forget it” of adulting. Slight tug and it winds itself back in like a polite robot butler who also happens to hate tripping hazards. No more Olympic-level wrestling matches with a kinked-up 84 ft of chaos. The slow-return system is pure genius: it retracts like it’s gently tucking the hose into bed instead of launching it at your face at Mach 3.
Mounted it on the wall, spun the 180° bracket like I was directing a garden symphony, locked the hose at the exact length I needed, and suddenly I felt like a responsible homeowner. The 9-pattern nozzle means I can go from “gentle mist for the basil” to “full jet of righteous fury for the muddy truck” in two clicks.
Bonus points for surviving my “I wonder if this can handle a pressure washer mood” test without exploding. Solid build, zero drama, and my neighbors no longer think I’m running an outdoor hose-hoarding support group.
10/10 would recommend. My lawn has never been so hydrated… or so free of existential hose-related rage.
