This is a great, solid built trolling motor. Only complaint and the reason for minus one star is the lowest speed is still too fast for trolling. I have it on a 14ft fiberglass Jon boat and it pushed it across the water with no problem.

On my way to the lake everything get loose and the engine wasnt working anymore. I had to open the cassing and play with the wire so it turn back on. I saw how much cheap was the component inside and im not sure if it will be able to finish it first season. Very disapointed, i should have bought a minn kota.

The engine isn’t sealed; after using it 4 times one summer I put it away, and the next summer it didn’t work, and when I opened it I realized it was so completely corroded that I had to throw it away.

The price was good, the weight is good, unfortunately I think the prop is unbalanced it vibrates and shakes so much it resonates thru the bass tender, we replaced a minn Kota 70 powerdrive and may go back I thought the extra power and less weight would help but after just an hour on the water my arm was messed up from the shakes. No amount of adjustment helped, upon inspection the prop is secure but you can see it's nowhere near properly balanced. Also blade material is beyond cheap...

Stopped working after a few months

Purchased in late November. Did not use until June. So far the motor has failed twice. Used to power dingy to shore. Arrived at shore, parked and stopped motor. Would not restart. Left dingy for a couple hours and then motor worked just fine (same battery). This has happened twice. Took the head apart no issues. I am thinking there must be a thermal switch in the motor itself. Both failures were after running the motor at full power for at least 20 minutes.

On the second time using the motor It intermittently would not engage the prop, the battery gauge was lit up but when you turned the handle nothing would happen. I would have to pull the handle out and in a few times to get it to work and that happened three or four times. But my biggest issue is with the customer service, after taking a number of days to get back to me on the issue They told me they could give me $69 and keep the motor which of course does not help me at all, I refuse and told them I'm on a day full refund and then after another day or two they said that they give me $129 and keep the motor which again is useless to me. In the last email that I got even though I was still wanting a full refund they said they would send me a replacement so at this point I was sick and tired of going back and forth and I agreed to the replacement. It's quite obvious what they're doing with trying to get you to take the cheapest possible option for them. In the future I will be quite weary of buying items from them based on that customer service.

Worst motor i ever bought,after 2 months of use it didnt want to run anymore in 3-4 gear,only 1,2 and 5.I closed my eyes on that and lets move on,then it came to the breaking point,where after 6 months i tried to put it on the boat and the fucking mount breaked in half,disgusting chinese quality,dont buy it you will regret it

No lo recomiendo compré un motor y se me rompió al segundo día pero es que me mandaron otro y otro que se me a roto y solo usado dos veces
