My husband decided to return it and purchase an upgraded all-in-one portable model instead. I had a 5 kw first in my boat but it was too powerful so it was only used at level 1. That's why I bought another 2 kw to be able to utilize it better, But the bearing and fan noise is too high on the 2 kw diesel heater so I will replace it with the 5 kw diesel heater again to reduce the noise. So my experience is that the 2kw diesel heater is useless due to unpleasantly high noise.
