Well made product but you better be holding on to the hose while it retracts. It’s way too fast and can damage things including you.

Just ser up in garage. Wife liked watering with it. Wasn't sure to get 85 or 100 ft.

This hose reel is great for watering things far from the house, I really love having a retractable hose, I now have one of these on both sides of my house. My only wish is that it was longer, 150 or 200 foot one would be great and reach all the way to my farthest animal trough.

I was genuinely surprised by the quality considering the price. The rewind spring is very strong and retracts the hose quickly and smoothly. The mounting bracket is solid, and all the necessary mounting hardware is included. The hose is a bit stiffer than what I’m used to with Gardena products, and it also feels slightly thinner. However, it uses standard Gardena/Hozelock connectors. One thing to note is that the hose is attached inside the reel with a special crimp fitting, so replacing the hose in the future may not be as straightforward as on some other reels. Time will tell how easy that will be, since every hose eventually needs replacing. There are two decorative side covers, one on each side of the reel. They have a tendency to pop off when the hose retracts because they’re only held in place with clips. I solved this by lightly securing them with a small amount of Sikaflex. Having a 40-meter hose is fantastic. I also really like the included spray gun, which offers a wide range of spray patterns. Overall, I’m very happy with this hose reel and plan to buy another one for the other side of my house. Even Gardena reels eventually wear out, yet they cost three times as much or more. For the amount of use this gets during the summer, I find it more than robust enough. I also assume it isn’t frost-resistant like the Gardena models, so I’ll be storing it indoors over the winter. I definitely recommend it. It offers an excellent balance of price and quality.

The hose from the spigot to the hose reel twisted easily and chokes off the water access. the grade of the hose seems cheap, but has a very long range in which i ordered. The housing reel is fantastic and charming in appearance.

Easy to install and replaced the 84ft version which was just long enough but did not have any extra slack. This 100' version is exactly what I needed. I should of waited until it came back in stock the first time. A++
