Good tool for high trees

I bought this one after buying an aluminum telescopic one which I destroyed on one of the first few branches I cut. This one has individual segments which are much stronger than aluminum and could be replaced if damaged. The aluminum one I could no longer retract after a branch impacted the pole on the way down.

Well the saw I ordered was not the saw that was delivered. Everything was good except the saw I ordered was supposed to have locking pin buttons on the shafts!! IT DID NOT… Did it work as advertised, yes it cut and was the proper length. Cons: did not get the locking pins on the shafts And the saw blade guard does NOT lock on the blade properly. It is supposed to lock over the nuts on the blade head! It doesn’t so if you carry it make sure not to loose your blade cover Not as promised but it does cut

Used this to trim some pretty large branches up high in my tree and worked great.

Received quickly after purchase. Made quick work of a broken branch high in the tree. The attached handle also allowed me to cut the branch easily into smaller pieces. Storage bag looks durable as well. It is a little heavy when all extensions are used.

Saved me from the only other option, renting the work platform truck. It did its job as expected. A thread lock would be a nice feature, but it seems that it is one of the differences between this model and pro version, so I cannot complain since adding 20€ would also add this feature. Lifting the bar when assembled in full length requires quite some force, but once nearly vertical, it is manageable. In lengths about 5m, the lever ratio brings it much closer to average-person strength.
