Great for smaller food itmes, and just fine for my needs. I'm finally getting homemade bread, ham and cheese sliced evenly - and fast - and fun too! Blades are easy to swap. Only thing is I'd consider a larger model if you have larger loafs of bread etc.

For the price its great!! It is admittedly cheap quality, but for the price you can't beat it. I bought it to see if I actually wanted to get a larger unit. With the plan of selling it for a discount to my buddy after, if I do decide to upgrade. I will probably buy a heavier duty one, but I'm very happy with this in the mean time. I wish the slicer came in a mfg box instead of just the shipping box, as it was a gift.

I looked at over a dozen slicers before deciding on this one. I looked at size, functions, and price. Although I only have 2 complaints. First, the dial to select the thickness is metric. No one uses metric in the US. Had to guess at the thickness. They could have done like tape measures and put both. The second is there is no tray for the slices to land on. That may be the same with any slicer but would be a nice to have. Both these issues are minor. Overall it works perfect. Slices clean and is easy to take apart to clean.

Bought it and was impressed...solid and good mechanics. Motor made a high pitched noise the first time I used it. Referred to vevor and they replaced it immediately and I love this slicer. It slices my sourdough bread like butter. Awesome to use and easy to clean. Changing the blade is a piece of cake.

I actually purchased this "meat" slicer to slice my home made bread. I was tired of using the "holders" for this job. I'm glad I spent the money for an electric version of bread slicer. Although it's not advertised specifically for slicing bread, it does a great job. I actually get one more slice than what I got with the "manual" type slicer! Definitely worth the money and much easier to use!
