Tried letting the down and up a few times before lifting something heavy .I guess it's normal the smell that come from the device .I lift about 60lbs with no problem. Later I will try 200lbs and if it have problems.

Works good, not sure if it could lift its rated capacity but works for what I needed it for.

This works well for what I use it for, lifting 9” Ford differentials onto my workbench. The power cord is very short so I had to use an extension cord. I use the corded control but occasionally it will go up when you press the down button and vice versa. Good value for the money in my opinion.

This thing has amazing features for the price. The RF remotes are great, and they work seamlessly. It really does seem to have incredible pulling force. It's not perfect though -- downsides included: 1. No unlocking mechanism. You have to spool out with the motor while maintaining tension on the cable, and that's frustratingly slow. It took me over two minutes to unwind to max length. 2. Mine stopped working on the first day of use, after an hour or so pulling loads of about 700 lbs. VEVOR replaced with after a bit of back and forth. I dissected the failed unit and I believe it overheated. As far as I can tell there is *no* thermal protection in this thing, and the little rotor-mounted motor fan is simply no match for the amount of current it pulls. This thing should have an independent case fan and a thermal shutoff on the main motor. 3. The replacement unit also stopped working almost immediately, but this one wasn't a failure -- one of the motor brushes vibrated out of its well, and needed to be screwed back in. Not a big deal but does require taking out about 10 case screws. Summary: I'd buy it again but only for light duty non-continuous work -- no more than 5 minutes at a time.

Le palan éclectique n'est pas de grande qualité, mais le rapport prix-qualité-versatilité est bon. La télécommande est très pratique. Peut être utilisé verticalement et horizontalement. Attention l'arrêt du moteur n'est pas instantané, il continue à enrouler ou dérouler le câble quelques secondes. Il faut anticiper. L'arrêt dans une position bien précise est difficile.

Installé en intérieur sur une potence murale. Le + la télécommande sans fils, même si elle a l'air fragile LES - horriblement bruyant! on dirait un aspirateur ! on entend les engrenages lorsqu'ils soulève 300kg, on a l'impression qu'il va "lâcher" Je l'utilise régulièrement depuis 15 jours, ce n'est pas un plaisir tout ce bruit, en + c'est très lent! Alors que j'ai un palan Vevor 1 tonne juste à coté qui est très agréable et qui parait ultra silencieux à comparé, et qui ne fait tout ces bruit d'engrenage lorsqu'il soulève + de 800kg... Déçu par ce matériel , pas sure qu'il soit durable...
