I purchased this fan for my workshop which is a 30X30 metal building with 12ft side walls and 15ft ceiling peak. My wife assembled the fan with no issues in less than 30 minutes. Install was straight forward and I used the 24" down rod. I was very happy with the air that this thing pushed on the 1st setting. I moved it up to 3 just to see and it was blowing paper off the tables. Love this fan and will more than likely purchase another for my outdoor area.

This fan does the job. It definitely moves the air. No need for 6 speeds, 3 is good 6 is hurricane.
