This is a good unit at a great price. Plenty of torque, in fact, if it had any more I would have broken my arm. It was easy to put together right out of the box even though the directions are a little hazy. One of two drawbacks and the reason for the four star ratings, the box was missing two bolts needed to secure the handles to the motor. The second, I live in a place that has heavy caliche just under the soil and this unit just would not penetrate it or cut it out. It would just spin and polish it as smooth as glass and make it hard as concrete. It does fine in regular soil up until I hit the caliche. I would buy this unit again and will continue to use this one it better soil.

Was a spur purchase to reduce hand digging sign post, made auger extention. Worked so well i am wondering why i had not bought one sooner. Buyi g was cheaper than renting from local rental store.

Ich hab das Gerät eigentlich zum Bohren von Erdlöchern gekauft. Leider ist bereits beim Probelauf das Gasseil gerissen. Daher mussten die Erdlöcher per Hand ausgehoben werden. Das war leider eine Riesenenttäuschung. Ich hoffe, dass das nur ein Einzelfall war. Aber bis hierher leider eine Fehlinvestition. Nachbearbeitung der Rezension: Der Support hat sich aufgrund der schlechten Bewertung (1 Stern) bei mir gemeldet. Leider gabs kein Ersatzprodukt, daher wurde mir eine Rücküberweisung als Entschädigung angeboten. An dieser Stelle ein großes Lob an den Support. Daher die Aufwertung auf 3 Sterne. Ich werde hier nochmals schreiben, ob die Rücküberweisung funktioniert hat.

This came missing parts, this review has nothing to do with the machine itself and only the package had came open at the tape, from poor packing, the bolts are just put into where the handles attach and finger tightened with the nuts, why they do not package them in a bag or a box is beyond me. I picked up the package and took it inside to see the box was open. When I went outside I saw a bolt on the ground, then when opening the box I can see the bolts all over and missing nuts. I have no idea what all is missing at this point.

Second hole air filter cover fell off due to stripped threads contacted VEVOR for repairs still waiting on Parts. Definitely not the best quality post hole auger. Job postponed for 2 weeks now as I wait. Costing more lost revenue than the auger is worth.

Colis bien reçu, cependant dès la 1ere utilisation la pointe du forêt 8 pouces s’est cassée, les goupilles permettant d’ajouter les rallonges ne sont pas suffisamment solide. Sinon la tarière a l’air solide si l’on fait abstraction de l’équipement annexe

The machine had wires that where not connected. I did write to vevor . In the end I took the relevant part to pieces and reconnected the wires . The machine works fine now this has been done . When vevor asked for photos of what was broken this was impossible to do .as nothing could been seen. And as it was taken to pieces it just got fixed

The auger has had some times it has performed well, but there have been some hiccups. It arrived with two of the handle bolts just placed loosely into the box. One of them jammed itself between the cover and the engine. It took some time to get it out of there. After using the auger on ten holes, it refused to start the next day. After taking the spark plug out, I noted it was covered in black liquid. The unit would only start by using the spare spark plug that was provided. Similarly I have had to remove and thoroughly clean the spark plug twice more as the project has continued. That has slowed down our progress. Yet, when it works, it works well.

Not bad for what it is it shook apart so we had to stop and go though it all. The throttle kept getting stuck open during use which is pretty dangerous. but as expected for a low cost tool. Renting one for the week would of been a lot more. The drill bit on the one snapped off after about 60 holes and would not dig anymore. Still better than doing by hand.
